How To Make The Perfect Margarita

Is there a more perfect summer drink than a Margarita? Built on just four ingredients, a Margarita is insanely refreshing and perfectly simple to enjoy when the sun comes out. Hailing from Mexico, and built on a base of tequila, this cocktail is perfect for enjoying at home, or out for a few small plates with us.

40ml Arette Blanco Tequila (if you're buying tequila in the shop, we recommend buying something that is 100% Agave) 15ml BANK Orange Liqueur (you can also use Grand Marnier or Cointreau) 20ml Citrus (we use equal parts lemon and lime juice) 5ml 2:1 Sugar Syrup (that's 2 parts sugar, to 1 part water, by weight. Prepare a rocks glass with a salt rim (if you like).
Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker.
Add ice and shake until chilled.
Strain into your rocks glass over ice.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
